Curraghchase Weekend

Our first Cub event of the year took place in Curraghchase Scout Centre.
On Friday night the Cubs arrived in Curraghchase to wet weather. After everyone had picked their bed for the weekend we played a game of charades for the night.

On Saturday we:
-Walked around Curraghchase Forest Park.
-Built shelters using sticks and other materials found in the forest.
-Made juggling balls and paracord bracelets.
-Enjoyed Cubs Got Talent that night.

Several Cubs (and some leaders) performed at the talent show. We had sketches, magic tricks, jokes and songs. The talent truly was amazing. Well done to everyone.

The weekend as a great opportunity for all the new and older Cubs to get to know each other. There were a lot of tired Cubs going home on Sunday, and although it rained for the majority of the weekend, I'm sure all the Cubs and Leaders had a fantastic time.
