Dawn Hike to 12 O'Clock Hills

We climbed the 12 O’Clock Hills, near Sixmilebridge Co. Clare, on the 27th of January. We met at the Scout Hall at 6.30am. There were 5 scouts and 3 leaders. Once we arrived at the hills we got our torches and checked the map. After 20 minutes of walking it was bright enough that we didn’t need the torches. We reached the top of the hill around 8.40. We took a few photos and looked at a stone table which pointed towards all the other hills around us and the distance to them. We then moved down to some cover from the wind and had breakfast. We then made our descent looking at a Mass Rock and a few Fairy Houses as we went. We then got back in the cars and went home around 10.45. Everyone had fun and it was a good trip out.
